Review: Palty Hair Dye in Caramel Sauce

A couple of weeks ago, I accidentally dyed my hair from brown to black.

ANG ARTE LANG I KNOW! HAHAHAHAHA!
I know the :) has a filter but in person it was more orangey and brassy - plus my roots were showing up.
:) - Kolours in Chestnut Brown 4 months after (and several beach trips)
:( - Kolours in Dark brown (ANG ITIMMMM. More like black)
I just really wanted to go a shade darker to cover up the regrowth and brassiness but ended up dyeing my hair BLACK. ARGH!!!

ANG TANDERS KO TINGNAN! I avoided wearing too much makeup because my hair made me look "matapang" and older :(( So I had to wait it out and dyed it 2 weeks after.

So in my quest to color my hair again - I stumbled upon PALTY at SM Makati's department store. I was pleasantly surprised that they started carrying Japanese bubble dyes. I was hesitant to try a bubble dye again because of my unpleasant experience with ETUDE house and I even did a review on it. Looking back I would honestly say that the dye SUCKED. It was terrible. Didn't cover much regrowth and left my hair in a weird 2-tone. The worst part was it left my hair EXTREMELY ROUGH AND DRY (all caps kasi intense dryness talaga). Parang walis levels!

I never that the healthiest hair but goodgodman! this made it 10x worse. From then on I veered away from bubble dyes and stuck with salon treatments (if I had the extra money) or traditional dyes (yes the ones with ammonia) because they honestly do color better.

I am a hardcore KOLOURS fan. I find myself going back to this brand. I usually consume 2 boxes - and it's perfectly ok since it is super affordable at less than P400/box. (Minsan nag ssale pa. O DI BA?)

So with that being said, nagpaka YOLO ako sa buhok ko - and tried Palty.

I had high hopes for you :(

How-to: Killer Kilay (WARNING: LONG POST)

I'M BAAAACK!!!!! Did ya miss me?

you can skip this rant of mine

Sorry for being such a lazy girl and not posting anything lately. Hay. A lot has happened and did you know that at one point I decided not to blog/do makeup for a moment because I doubted myself for the nth time? ANG DRAMA LANG DI BA??? Mga self-confidence issues ko nga naman.

Blame the hormonal imbalance due to my PMS but I find myself getting all emotional at the smallest things... like say... Lord of the Rings (I MEAN, WHO CRIES WATCHING THIS??? AKO LANG!), oh and I finished a whole roll of chocolate cake that I ended up regretting and feeling fatter. Then I would tell myself "TOMORROW I WILL/PLAN/PROMISE TO --insert lie here--" (exercise, do my report, go to the dentist, study, heck even wake up early!) BUT I just end up lying in bed/watching TV/eating/whining how much weight I gained/eating/whining to the boyfriend. I just feel so... "blah" lately. My brain seriously lacks mental stimulation. ARGH.

I'M SORRY.

What's a girl to do when she feels "sad" and anti-social? MAKEUP TUTORIAL! Yay!

And YES I will FINALLY post the "most-requested" tutorial -- HOW I DO MY EYEBROWS. (Hi Anne! Eto na talaga! haha)

Read more after the jump!

oh and please tell me if you'd want to see a how-to on the eyeshadow I'm wearing in this post ;)

Review: Etude House - Dear My Blooming Lips Talk in PK002

For a tiny lipstick that was a pretty long name -_-

Hello! Still no news of when my internship starts so product review and swatches muna tayo.

Last Sunday, I dropped by MoA's fairly brand new Etude House branch and got their brightest pink lipstick available.

Check out my thoughts after the jump!

Follow up on Etude House' Bubble Hair Coloring

Hi! I'd like to share an update on the bubble hair color I tried last week. Here's a pic that was taken last Friday (a day after coloring).

HAHAHAHA.

I must say, it did a good job of covering my roots (about an inch of regrowth) minus the ammonia smell.

HOWEVER it left my hair crazy dry and brittle! I've been dyeing my hair for quite some time now but I haven't experienced brittleness like this. It's been almost a week and still, post-shampoo it feels coarse. I have to put on intense   conditioner to soften my strands up.

Overall, I might just stick to regular dyes next time but I'd want to try other bubble dye brands though :)

Etude House: Bubble Hair Coloring Review

I'm baaaaaack! After months of not blogging :) It's been a pretty busy and fattening summer for me so far. I can't wait to share what awesome finds I got from the States :)

So anyway, to start the month I wanted to do a product review on the uso Asian bubble/foam hair dyes out there.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Etude House, a Korean brand, is now carrying a foam/bubble type of hair dye similar to the Japanese ones like Palty and Prettia (which are sold online for a pretty hefty price if you asked me). I've been itching to order the Palty one for quite some time now, but the pre-order-online thing made me lazy. haha.

At P378 a box, it's pretty affordable compared to the Japanese bubble dye brands.
